Fellow Sons,
Thank you for the extreme honor of representing you as State Commander this year. I am especially aware of those PDCs who have served before me. Especially PDC Jeff Flynt who encouraged me all the way, but didn’t quite cross the finish line with me. He was one of a kind. I will treasure the memories, and strive to make him proud.
Our mission as members of the Sons of The American Legion is supporting our Veterans and Children and Youth programs. We are ‘Stronger Together’ when all four family organizations work alongside each other striving for the same goal. Communication is key in getting everyone working together. We achieved over 99% of membership goals by state convention this year, and are well on our way of breaking the 12,000 membership mark. I look forward to joining forces with the other members of the Legion family sharing the same vision supporting the wonderful programs of the American Legion…
