Late on the afternoon of July 24, 2023 California’s S.A.L. Commander Sean Brandon had the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the championship game at the Jackie Robinson stadium at UCLA.
The CDR is pictured here with a player from the Yuba/Sutter team that went on to win in a double-elimination. It was great baseball and a fitting end to the State series of American Legion Baseball, one of the programs behind the pillar of Americanism supported by the Sons.
