Detachment Commander Sean Brandon

Our aim as members of the Sons is to help to incorporate the “Legion Family” as a unified force; to set new records in membership growth; and to help increase contribution totals of cash, hours, and mileage for the many projects we support and fund. Your participation is instrumental and a must for the success of these objectives.  The formula for growth is really very simple  “Just Ask Somebody,”  If we each brought just one person into the family this year, we would have doubled our size. We can do it.

WE MALE DESCENDANTS OF VETERANS OF ALL WARS

We are the proud Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L), an organization honoring our parents and/or grandparents who served in the military as we provide support and honor to all our veterans, their families, and to our local communities throughout the great state of California.  If you have a parent or grandparent who served in the military, why not consider joining our family, join the Sons of The American Legion.

PROUD POSSESSORS OF A PRICELESS HERITAGE

We male descendants of veterans of all Wars, associate ourselves together as “Sons of The American Legion” for the following purposes: To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a true spirit of Americanism; to preserve the memories of our former members and the associations of our members and our forefathers in all Wars; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the Community, State and Nation; to combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to promote peace and good will on earth; to safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy; to consecrate and sanctify our friendship, by our devotion to mutual helpfulness; to adopt in letter and spirit, all of the great principles for which The American Legion stands; and to assist in carrying on for God and Country.
